FOTOGRAFFIK is an electro-collage duo
founded by brothers, Michael (Greensleeves)

and Zach Warkentin in the ilk of local favs, Pretty Lights, Big Gigantic, and Bass Physics.

 

Greensleeves and Zach were both founding members of Broken Tongues, a prominent live hip-hop band in Denver from 2009 to 2013.

FOTOGRAFFIK is based in Denver, Colorado.

FOTOGRAFFIK's debut album, 'Morning Flight' is an homage to the old and new, combining samples, repurposed via turntables and digital effects, with new instrumentation to create a new, exciting musical collage or 'musical vignette' in each track (think Paul’s Boutique meets ODESZA or RJD2). Greensleeves created and incorporated the beats, textures, and samples, and also mixed every song. Zach did the keys, bass, and guitar. The album also features Erin Angel (Broken Tongues)

in several capacities.
